Check out this new video for teens “It’s Time to Start Thinking about Keeping Kids from Drinking” talks about prevention of underage drinking.

Approximately 14 million people in the United States are addicted to alcohol or abuse alcohol. This is a serious disease that can be prevented and treated. During this Alcohol Awareness Month (April) let’s join in the effort to prevent underage drinking.  Share this video with everyone you know, teens and their parents alike…it’s not only informative but also fun, short and has local actors!

Also, check out our Alcohol Awareness Month fact sheet loaded with tips and resources for parents of teens and adults without children alike.  This factsheet has a particular focus on women who may binge drink….use this fact sheet to raise awareness of the health and social problems that excessive alcohol consumption can cause for individuals, their families, and their communities.
